The practice can offer a chaperone in your appointment at your request. This means that one of our staff will come in to the doctor’s or nurse’s consulting room and observe any treatment or examination.
A chaperone might be another doctor or nurse, or a member of our administration team. All of our staff who act as chaperones will have been trained to act as a chaperone.
If the doctor or nurse treating you feel that it is important to have a chaperone in your appointment, they will discuss this with you and arrange this.
