Home visits are reserved for patients who are too ill to come in to the surgery. For home visit requests, the doctor will usually phone you first to assess you by phone and agree a visit or other action. The receptionist may ask for some brief details of your request so that the doctors can prioritise requests.

If the patient has a temperature or a rash, coming to the surgery will not endanger others, but please inform the receptionist on arrival.
